Frequently asked questions

What if my haulage is subcontracted?

It works the same. The app lives on the driver’s phone, not in the truck, so it makes no difference whose fleet it is. You give them access to their trips and they start recording them.

Will the driver find it hard to use?

The app is built so they only have to act: see their trips, mark arrival and departure, sign and report. No long forms and no steps that add nothing.

Does it work without coverage?

The app shows connectivity status and the last GPS upload, so the driver always knows whether their data has gone out.

Is the eCMR valid?

It is signed digitally in the app and shared instantly, with its date and time record. It is filed alongside the rest of the trip paperwork.

Is it DeCA compliant?

Yes. The eCMR the driver signs in the app is compatible with the DeCA, Spain’s transport control document, and meets its rules, which make it digital and mandatory for domestic road haulage from 5 October 2026. It is filed with the rest of the trip paperwork.

Does it integrate with my ERP or TMS?

Yes. Kaira Driver feeds the Kaira platform, which connects over API with your ERP, WMS, TMS and SCM. It does not replace your system: it adds the route data it does not have today.

How long does setup take?

Not long. It connects to your system, drivers are set up and data starts arriving with the first trip.

Which phones does it work on?

On the phone the driver already carries. There are no handsets to buy and nothing to install in the vehicle.
