Funding from the European Union and the Regional Government of Aragón
Thanks to Orders EPE/511/2023 of 21 April and EEI/1494/2023 of 23 October, Kaira received funding from the European Union and the Regional Government of Aragon. Under the umbrella of Aragón’s ERDF Programme 2021-2027, the aim was to promote investment in the circular economy and the implementation in Aragon of business projects that include experimental development and/or industrial research in the circular economy in 2023 and 2024 (Aragón Official Gazettes no. 80 of 28/04/2023 and no. 210 of 31/10/2023).
The project
Kaira is a comprehensive digital solution designed to address the challenges of interoperability and fragmentation in the supply chain. Using advanced technologies and artificial intelligence, the tool enables proactive decision-making at all stages of the chain, improving efficiency and sustainability.
Our objetives
Kaira’s main objective is to validate the interaction of Industry 4.0 technologies in the laboratory to create a comprehensive supply chain management tool. This includes selecting technologies, designing the system architecture, developing AI algorithms, applyiing the principles of the circular economy, and carrying out proof-of-concept testing to improve operational efficiency and sustainability. In addition, we seek to study the scalability and flexibility of the solution for future implementation in various environments.
